M.S., CCC-SLP , is currently the owner of a private practice, teaching social skills to children with autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and other pragmatic language disabilities. She works with parents and other professionals to coordinate and implement home-based programs for students with special needs. Sandy is also employed as a speech and language specialist in an out of district public school system for children with autism. Prior to working with autistic students, Sandy enjoyed her work in residential facilities with teenagers and adults that have severe developmental and physical disabilities, working as a private home therapist with elementary school-aged children, and doing speech and language therapy with both typically developing children and children with various developmental disabilities in private and public school settings.
B.S., is dually certified to teach both special education and elementary education. She is currently employed in the New Jersey public school system as both a resource room and in-class support teacher. Jennifer leads social groups for children with special needs and works with parents and other professionals to coordinate and implement home-based programs for students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Prior to holding her current positions, Jennifer was employed as a special education teacher in an out of district public school program for children with autism. Jennifer has taught students ranging in age from preschool to middle school-aged children. Among her other professional accomplishments, she has been honored with the Governor's Teacher of the Year Award.
